1, How to store it

It can be kept in the air. The temperature of the place where it is stored should be 0-40°C. If the temperature is below zero, add clear saturated salt water into packing bag to immerse resin. If exposed in the air, part of resin will lose water and become dry. Resin without water should be immersed in methanol and other solvents(ethanol,acetone). Use water instead of methanol when the rosin is completely soaked.

2, How to handle it:

  During the manufacturing process of absorptive resin, technical grade materials are generally adopted. There is small amount of monomer and other organic impurities left inside the resin for the products have not been further purified. So we should handle it before we use it.

How we handle it:

• Soak the new resin which is ready to be filled in the column in methanol(2 times volume of the resin) or other water soluble solvents(such as ethanol , acetone) for 2 hours, stir frequently and make the resin fully dissolved and swelled.
• Fill the fully dissolved and swelled absorptive resin into the columnar. Let 5-8 times methanol or other water soluble solvents(such as ethanol , acetone) pass the resin layer until the fluid comes. Add water for dilution.
• After alcohol treatment, replace the methanol.
